Estonian Chamber Ensembles

PLMF Arts Management is happy to present the following Estonian chamber ensembles. All the musicians are happy to offer an addition of master classes for both individual artists and ensembles.

Duo Cello & Accordion

Andreas Lend (cello)

Allan Jakobi (accordion)

The timbres of accordion and cello blend together extremely well - the sound is at the same time orchestral and cozy. The Duo plays music from Baroque to Contemporary from composers J.S.Bach, Marin Marais, Igor Stravinski, Manuel de Falla, Ernst Bloch, Arvo Pärt, David Popper, Heitor Villa-Lobos, Enrique Granados, Astor Piazzolla, Vittorio Monti, Fritz Kreisler etc. They allure the audience with their deep dedication, stage spark and virtuoso interpretations.

Duo Flute & Harpsichord/Piano

Oksana Sinkova (flute) and Irina Zahharenkova (harpsichord/piano)

Two of the finest instrumentalists of the musical country have prepared a program "Sons of Johann Sebastian Bach" which includes sonatas of W.F.Bach, C.P.E.Bach & J.C.F.Bach, J.C.Bach. This is a project of historical beauty performed to the highest standards with immense depth and character.

Duo Saxaphone & Accordion

Virgo Veldi (saxophone) and Jaak Lutsoja (accordion)

In 2013 these two good friends from music school days wanted to see how their soloist's musical experience would work in duo. Veldi and Lutsoja themselves are also excellent interpreters, who have a number of achievements. Famous Estonian composers have written works specially for Veldi (including Galina Grigorjeva, Tõnu Kõrvits), and Lutsoja's solo album was chosen as the European Jazz Radio album of the week two times in a row. Their collaboration was so successful that the musicians decided to develop the duo and a trio was created, which included the cello player Marius Järvi. The concert series "Elite Concerts" has been held with the help of the Association of the Interpreters and the Estonian Concert. Part of this program is also recorded on Estonian Raadio. Veldi and Lutsoja's duo is undoubtedly a charming, enthusiastic and unique ensemble!
